Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our State Farm agency team. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys helping customers and is comfortable identifying and asking for additional coverage opportunities. You will support existing customers while actively contributing to agency growth through cross-selling and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-office interactions
- Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and claims support
- Educate existing customers on coverage options and additional lines of insurance
- Confidently identify cross-sell opportunities and ask customers about unmet insurance needs
- Generate referrals and support agency retention and growth goals
- Work collaboratively with the sales and service team to deliver a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Active Washington Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
- Comfortable and confident discussing and cross-selling additional insurance products to existing customers
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Prior customer service, insurance, or office experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Plus commissions and performance-based bonuses
